I got bored with my son's toys so I decided we need to buy some new ones... now! Please refer to my earlier blog about my spoiling my kiddo.
So, we got in the car and hit the road. We could have turned left and gone to Target or right to Wal-Mart. Since I'd been to Target three time this week already, I decided to give Wal-Mart a whirl...
There, I found the "Fisher-Price Little People Surprise Sounds Fun Park".

While it retails for $24.99 at any toy store, I got it for $10.09 at Wal-Mart (!!!). The ".09" was a dead giveaway that this was probably an error, but I won't tell the evil mega-corporation, if you don't.
Oh Wal-Mart, you've lured me back with your low, low prices!
When I was in college, I was up super late one night putting the final touches on a paper. When I was ready to print at 4 am, my printer was out of ink... So, I immediately ran out to the only place still open at this ungodly hour... yup, t'was WAL-MART.
I was so tired, I actually walked out of the house with a coat over my nightgown. Oh well... who would even be there to see me dressed like a lunatic?
Lots of people in fact... like the one family that had "Connect Four" in their shopping cart...
I repeat. I was there to buy ink for a paper due at daybreak. They were there because in the middle of the night, they decided they needed more "family fun".
I thought this was strange until I got to the check out counter and in front of me was a woman purchasing TWO carts-full of processed meat products. Hot dogs, sausage, lunch meat... Two carts of this stuff... at 4 am.
When I showed my husband the "Fisher-Price Little People Surprise Sounds Fun Park", he suggested that we hold off on giving it to our son until his birthday. Party pooper.
