Hating you more with each snore.
Thoughts tormenting me.
It's not even 5.
All because you freaked us out.
What the F, buddy!
You go back to sleep.
Blissful sweet dreams on your mind.
But not me. I seeth.

I've blogged before about my difficulty getting to sleep at night... Well, this haiku is dedicated to my husband, who woke everyone up at 4 am because he was convinced that our son had stopped breathing (PANIC). Well, he hadn't stopped breathing. He was just deep in sweet REM sleep-- peaceful, quiet, and still.
Once my husband had confirmed this, he went right back to sleep. Yeah, just like that.
I, on the other hand, was awake for the day with "keep me up" thoughts percolating in my brain... and after being up late with a sick kid, I could have smothered my husband...

My darling husband likes to keep me awake with his extremely LOUD snoring!
I've thought of smothering him with my pillow and dealing with it in the morning..
Mine falls asleep before his head hits the pillow and never wakes up. I hate that. I on the other hand spend an hour trying to find the "right" sleep position and then another few hours listening to the wild racket that goes on in my brain.
Want to hear a secret?...
My husband sleeps his snoring ass in the other room.
:)
Oh that ticks me off when my husband does that! He's done it several times and I've given him the silent treatment after each one, and he doesn't understand why! Men. Sheesh.
Oh no!! Rotten!
My hubby woke me up once, when I was super pregnant and hardly ever sleeping anymore, to walk on his back. I wanted to knock him out. He hasn't really done that since. Smart man.
Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight.
Thanks for stopping by my blog! It is nice to "meet" you!
Good luck getting those 8 hours. I say hubby gets the kids tomorrow while you get to relax.
Wow, great Ku. Amazing your hubby is that light a sleeper. Mine saws logs and barely flinched when the baby is screaming!
I am like you...I can't fall asleep easily EVER...on the other hand my wife...falls asleep mid sentence when she lies down...
ugh!
