Daily Thanks: Day One

Upon encountering all the buzz about NaBloPoMo or National Blog Posting Month, I was overwhelmed too. I mean, posting every single day... for a month?! That's an awful lot to ask from a meek lil' old blogger like me... and who's to say my life is even really that exciting. Every day?!

My first inclination was to avoid it at all costs... until I heard about Boogiemum's 30 Days of Thanks group from Mama Zen.

The idea is simple, but simply so fabulous:

“Why not take a few minutes everyday in the month of November and post a short blurb on something that you are thankful for? I did this last year for NaBloPoMo and found it very therapeutic and some great blogging material.

Let’s make Thanksgiving not just a one day celebration, but a whole month!”

I've been trying to be a more positive person lately and this seemed like the perfect "project" to tackle. So, I decided to join in the fun.

We could ALL use a bit more gratitude in our lives, especially me, and what better time to start than RIGHT NOW?

DAY ONE: I'm grateful for the opportunity to spend a month focusing on all of the good great AMAZING blessings in my life for a change.

Looking forward to another 29 days. Wish me luck!

This is a great idea. I don't think I'll do it, but the thought is good...and that's what counts...the thought.

I think you can do it! It really does help to stop and appreciate a moment or two. This should help you become a more positive person which is something I strive for myself!

I almost joined in on this due to reading about it on Mama Zen also, but decided that when I HAVE to do something, I usually begin to hate it, so I didn't, but I am excited to read everyone elses. :)
Good luck!
