About Me

My photo
Married a geek, then left a job in advertising to be a personal assistant to a toddler. The pay is... well, nonexistent, but the perks are simply priceless.

The Secrets Held by Little Boys' Pockets

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

Little boys' pockets hold magical things
Earthworms, apple cores, a mess of strings,
but this treasure is nothing to the wealth one find's
in little boys' hearts and little boys' minds.

Boys carry everything they need to survive, in their pockets. I'm almost 36, and I still do it.
This is a beautiful shot.

How cute...to bad he didn't reach in a grab out a fist full of twenties, huh?

I guess as a little boy he wouldn't have been nearly as impressed as mom would...

You are right! You never know what you will find in those pockets! For my girls it was purses and any type of bag. There was always a scavenger hunt worth of "treasures" in their bags.

That is an awesome little poem... but not near as great as the fantastically cute little man.

Such a cute shot!

The problem with the contents of my little guy's pockets is that they always end up in my washer.

Guess what? Hubby's company just landed a huge contract in London. I'm seething. The timing!! Why couldn't this have happened a few years ago?!

Visiting here from PSF. I just love your description which says you left advertising to be a "personal assistant to a toddler". Classic funny.

Awww, now you've gone and made me miss my son as a little kid...not enough to have another one mind you, but awwww!

Another picture, although not nearly as endearing would be the weird stuff in mommies' pocketbooks...rubber lizard and horseradish sauce packet?????
