Hubby: What does "shorty" mean?
Me: Seriously?
Hubby: Yeah, I've been hearing it on the radio a lot lately and was just wondering what it means. Do you know?
Me: Well... umm... I don't know for certain, but I surmise it means "girlfriend" or something like it.
Hubby: Oh okay. That makes sense. Thanks!
*Sigh* I miss the days when were used to debate politics or argue about who's career was more important and thereby justifying a hypothetical out-of-state move...
