Another Season. Another Size. Going to Another Shop.

Sales Chick: How's everything working out for you?

Me in the dressing room: Fine. Wait, could you get me these pants in the next size up? (handing pants over the door)

Sales Chick: Uh... we don't make anything larger than this at THE LIMITED.

Me still in the dressing room: Oh.

Sales Chick: Maybe you could...

Me deciding to hide a bit longer: Just shut up RIGHT NOW.

I can so see it. It has happened to me. And the sales chick is a tiny little thing all of 10 yrs old and gives you this lip curling eye brow raising look of distaste that you would even contemplate looking in their store, let alone actually try something on!
Then in the change rooms they hover, and if it is a curtain they will twitch it a little every now and then just to mess with you.
Oh, I have been there. And one day so will that little sales chick.

I would have gotten that chick fired.

Oh yes, been there... And there's nothing like being in line at JC Penney with a friend who's buying something and the clerk ringing her up says to you, "Oh yes, there are lots of sales over in the plus size section too!". Ouch. :(

Whatdidja expect, it's called the "Limited." As in limited styles, limited sizes and limited brain cells of their employees.

G, you're better than The Limited!

I know that the cheap, yet tailored looking pants draw you in but we're just not Limited girls any more. I had to retire my backless sparkly shirts last year and with it, my occasional jaunts into The Limited and Express.

shop where I shop?

My ass hasn't seen anything made by the limited in about 15 years.

Sounds like a good way for a sales clerk to end up with a very limited life span!
