Picture Perfect

I know you're on-the-edge-of-your-seats dying to know how our long awaited picture day went.

About as well as expected... as in, it was INSANE. I mean, whose ridiculous idea was this anyway?! Oh, wait. That's right. ME.

In spite of having planned this fiasco weeks upon weeks ago, I was running incredibly late. (Diva, that I am and all...) I was totally stressed out (I really HATE being late) and the kids...

There were lollipop bribes, talk of Happy Meals, and promises of brand new bimmers for sixteenth birthdays if they would only sit in one place and please, please stop crying....

This is about as good as it got...

In the end, I got what I wanted all along-- one "no-where-near-perfect" photo of the boys, all together and just as they are... Crazy, unruly, and terribly TWO.

Holy Sh*t! You ARE patient! I can just imagine the sound based on the scene you posted. How did the moms deal? And being a kid photographer, I'd love to hear how that photographer was looking at the end of the shoot... did you get a shot of him? or her?

I think it looks great! There was not a snowball's chance in hell it would all go according to plan. And, they look TWO.

Oh, that is the funniest group shot I've seen in a while. Picture day never goes according to plan around here either.

HAHAHA! That's funny. I'm going for the family picture tomorrow morning, and my daughter has a gi-normous cold sore sprouting from her face. Lovely.

Ha! I feel you. The best pic we got of 9 cousins at Chrismas includes my niece flashing her pretty blue panties and my nephew in full tantrum mode face down on the floor. It still went in the Snapfish photobook.
