This Overwhelming Holiday Spirt

After blogging every day for a MONTH, it seems to wrong to be as neglectful about posting this past week...

Oh, wait. No it hasn't! I've been too swamped with being ho-ho cheery and bu-bu-busy lately to be very creative. Sorry.

Man, I remember when the holidays used to all about anticipation, excitement, and presents.

Okay, it's still all about the presents. It's just not as fun when you're the one buying, wrapping, and shipping them... as well as sending out a hundred (yes, a hundred) Christmas cards, having people over at our house, going over to theirs, getting photos with Santa, supporting all the good causes, seeing that train exhibit that's getting all the rave reviews from the mommy set...

Being stretched too thin!

Hopefully, I'll start feelin' it again and be back to regale you with stories of my trips to the grocery store and submissions for the photo hunt. Tonight, I'm off to a fancy holiday party, with my highest heels and without my child. Yeah, I'm excited too.

I hope the holidays have been treating you well!

"It's just not as fun..."--I agree! Christmas was much more magical before I was the one in charge of making it happen!
