Not being one to promote heavy drinking during the holidays (snort!), I caution you... this is not for the kiddies or guests you would not wish to spend the night (read: pass out 'til tomorrow) on your living room floor.
It is, however, a delightful little pick-me up between family portraits never meant to be and visits to Santa. In fact, I've decided to incorporate it in all of my future celebrating.
My friend severed it at her party this evening and it was hit. I recommend you try a few, especially if your holiday season has been less than wonder and magic... This will bring that spark back!

Jingle Juice Prep: 10 min. If you don't have orange liqueur, such as Triple Sec, substitute an equal amount of orange juice.
5 cups orange juice
1 cup vodka
1/3 cup orange liqueur
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup maraschino cherry juice
Garnishes: fruit-flavored candy cane sticks, cherries with stems, orange and lemon slices
1. Stir together orange juice and next 4 ingredients; serve over ice. Garnish, if desired.
Yield: Makes 1 1/2 qt.

I have the vodka, and the maraschino cherry....
That good enough?
I am seriously going to make this for Christmas Eve. Usually stinking hot while we are 'preparing' should make for an interesting wrapping session!
