So, I thought one of the benefits of having a BOY (versus a girly girl) was getting to dress him any way I pleased well into college... Okay, maybe junior high. I mean, what does he care what he's wearing? He's BOY!
Well, apparently that was completely short-sighted and extremely sexist on my behalf, because at 22 months, he just started caring... A LOT.
Tossed aside were the stylish "BabyGap-inspired" button-down shirt layered over a graphic tee. He wouldn't even try on the trendy brown suede skater sneaks I found ON SALE at The Children's Place...
Nope. Nope. Nope.
He screamed, howled, and resisted until I reached into his closet to reveal the same ol' shirt and pants that he wears every three days. (Oh well, it least, it's not his Halloween costume...)
Now, I have TWO men in my life that refuse to be my paper doll. Well, Boo!

Well, you're lucky it's not a Cinderella costume. I have to hide Miss Peach's or she'll wear it every day:)
I remember the day I could no longer dress kamran in his Blues Clues/Steve shirt. "But you look so cute" didn't matter anymore.
I too had the same awaking with my son, I will say he has gotten better no if I can only get his Dad in line :)
LOL... no kidding. Toddlers, regardless of boy or girl, have their own fashion sense. You are so lucky it isn't Cinderella. That dress is nearly $75 at the Disney store and we are on number 2. Yup. We wore threw the 1st one.
josh is usually so easy, but if there's something he doesn't want to wear...he's an absolute monster about it!

My son is WAY more picky than my daughter.
I got a wailing toddler yesterday who absolutely HAD to wear his airplane sweatshirt. I mean seriously. I didn't give in of course, because it didn't match his pants!
